Qualification & Education

Aislinn is a registered dietitian in Ireland (CORU) and the UK (HCPC), and is a member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute (INDI). She completed a BSc in Dietetics from Ulster University and a PhD in Nutrition from University College Dublin.

Experience & Interests

During her training in the NHS, Aislinn gained experience in both acute and community settings, moving on to work in a local community hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic whilst completing her PhD. Aislinn has experience managing a range of medical conditions, including malnutrition, obesity, renal disease, cancer, diabetes, gastroenterological issues, heart disease, dementia, PCOS, and more. Aislinn has over 2 years of private practice experience, where she has developed her expertise in digestive health and women’s health. Aislinn received FODMAP training from King’s College London.

Aislinn is passionate about debunking nutrition myths and translating the latest nutritional research into dietary advice. What Aislinn enjoys most about her role is giving back clients control of their diet, whether that be by empowering clients to break free of diet culture or helping them identify the cause of their digestive issues. As an award-winning researcher, she has conducted 2 human research trials, presented her research at national and international conferences, has a number of academic publications, and has lectured on Nutrition and Dietetics university courses. Her PhD focused on vitamin D and how its absorption can be improved using food fortification.

Aislinn loves sharing nutrition information to the public via social media, public seminars and written articles. Aislinn enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family, cooking, baking, being by the sea, hiking, and travelling.
