Rebekah Boardman, Clinical Dietitian
Qualification & Education
Rebekah is a CORU registered dietitian. She is a member of INDI (Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute). She graduated with a MSc in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from UCD. She also completed a BSc in Food Innovation from TUD. In addition, Rebekah has completed additional training in physiology and metabolism.
Experience
Rebekah has worked as a clinical dietitian in a rehab and residential setting. She has worked with patients that have presented with a range of different medical conditions, including malnutrition, diabetes, obesity, cancer, renal disease, gastrointestinal disorders and neurological disorders. She enjoys working with people to help them to achieve their nutritional goals.
Rebekah has experience in clinical, community and industry settings in the HSE and private sector.
She is passionate about research and has carried out a range of clinical audits. For her thesis, she looked at the usability and acceptability of a clinical portal system amongst healthcare professionals. This research has been included in an academic paper that is awaiting publication.
In her spare time Rebekah enjoys cooking, baking, eating out, shopping, going for hikes and travelling.
