Naomi Hastings, Dietitian

Qualification & Education

Naomi is a qualified dietitian having graduated with a 1st class honours degree in B.Sc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Dublin Institute of Technology/Trinity College Dublin. Naomi has also completed a QQI Level 6 course in Health Services Supervisory Management. Naomi is a member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute and CORU. She has experience as a registered dietitian working in both the hospital setting and, most currently, in food services. Naomi has completed further training in the Low FODMAP diet specific for the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome.


Naomi gained experience as a clinical dietitian within the Health Service Executive for a number of years gaining experience in specialty areas including gastroenterology and diabetes. Naomi is currently working in the food industry, in the delivery of health and wellness programmes and nutrition analysis of menus to meet food and nutrition guidelines and standards. Naomi has a keen interest in health promotion and wellbeing and develops collateral and material for health and wellbeing platforms. Naomi's key areas of expertise include: gut health and digestive disorders,  heart disease, diabetes, coeliac disease, weight management and optimising health.
